Since Hotel Cap Negret was founded 50 years ago, we’ve worked hard to offer our guests a unique experience day after day that is safe, enjoyable and respects the environment. The hotel has moved forward with new projects and made continuous improvements and is currently one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Blanca for holidays, business and sports.


At Hotel Cap Negret, we endeavour to be the leading hotel in both national and international markets as well as a benchmark in sports, leisure and MICE tourism, offering quality and innovation without forgetting sustainability and the preservation of local heritage and traditions.


We have robust quality standards and values aligned with a clear goal: to expand our presence in the market and enhance the customer experience, as we believe that the human factor is the cornerstone of our success. Therefore, this Code of Conduct has been developed to ensure a harmonious co-existence among all our visitors, our staff and the local community.


This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and guidelines that we expect from those using our services or visiting our facilities. Its aim is to encourage respectful interactions, prevent inappropriate conduct and ensure everyone feels valued and safe.



1. Respect towards staff and other guests


• Treat hotel staff and other guests with the courtesy, respect and tolerance that you would like to be treated with.


• Any offensive, aggressive, discriminatory behaviour or any form of harassment (based on gender, race, religion, etc.) will not be tolerated. The hotel reserves the right to remove any person who engages in such behaviour.


• Guests must not remain inside their room while it is being cleaned. Guests are provided with signage to indicate whether cleaning can take place or not (for example, “DO NOT DISTURB” and “PLEASE CLEAN MY ROOM”).


• Guests may not access communal area toilets while they are being cleaned. The cleaning staff will place clear signs indicating that the area is temporarily closed for cleaning.



2. Care of the facilities


• Use hotel facilities in accordance with their rules of use. Any damage caused must be covered by the guest that is responsible for the damage.


• Removing items from the hotel, such as towels, decorative items, electronic devices, etc., is strictly forbidden.


• Bringing in or consuming food and beverages inside the establishment that have been purchased outside the hotel is not permitted. Guests are encouraged to use our services or to go out and enjoy local dining options outside of the hotel.



3. Noise and co-existence


• Out of respect for other guests, please avoid making excessive noise, particularly between 12:00 am and 8:00am during the summer season and between 10:00pm and 8:00am during the winter season.


• To avoid disrupting other guests, private celebrations must take place within the timeframes mentioned above. There may be exceptions on special dates of local, regional or national significance (for example, Castell de L’Olla, New Year’s Eve, the Night of San Juan, etc.)



4. Consumption of alcohol and other substances


• Moderate alcohol consumption is permitted in designated areas. Hotel staff reserve the right to stop serving alcoholic beverages to guests who show signs of intoxication and disturb other guests.


• The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited within the hotel and its private areas.


• Smoking is not permitted in guest rooms or in non-designated areas. There are clearly marked smoking areas provided within the hotel.



5. Responsible use of communal areas


• Guests must respect cleanliness and tidiness in pool areas, restaurants, beach areas, gardens and other shared spaces.


• During the summer season, reserving sun loungers by leaving unattended items on them is not permitted. The hotel may remove these items and store them until the owner returns.


• Access to indoor areas of the hotel without wearing a top, or while wet, is not permitted, as this may pose a slipping hazard to other guests.



6. Environment and sustainability


• Do not leave litter on the beach or in green spaces. Use the appropriate bins provided.


• Using water and electricity responsibly is essential for preserving our natural environment.


• Hotel Cap Negret is committed to the policy of reducing food waste by raising awareness among guests and staff.



7. Safety


• Bringing weapons or dangerous items into the hotel is strictly forbidden.


• In the event of an emergency or evacuation, please follow the instructions given by staff.


• The hotel has a CCTV (closed-circuit television) system for the necessary security for our guests and staff. This footage may be used in the event of violations of hotel rules.



8. Prohibition of unauthorised commercial activities


• Offering products or services within the hotel premises is prohibited without prior authorisation from the hotel management.



9. Pets


• Pets are not permitted, except in the case of persons who are blind or possess a medical certificate verifying the need for them to be accompanied for health-related reasons (such as, autism, emotional support, etc.). In such cases, as well as providing the required certificate, pets must remain under supervision, be kept on a lead and must not disturb other guests.



10. Consequences of non-compliance


Depending on the seriousness of the situation, failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, penalties, additional charges or the cancellation of your stay without a refund.
